Adult Cats are appreciated by
Adults!
The Seniors for Seniors program
is a program that places an
adult and/or rehabilitation cat
in with retirees and/or
senior citizen.
Not only is there strong medical
evidence that a companion animal
can greatly increase the health
and enhance your life, but
seniors come with a wealth of
knowledge that is embedded from
years of experience.
The program is very simple.
We place an adult cat that
matches the desired personality
and type with a person who is
looking to join the program.
This may be either permanent or
temporary depending on what you
are looking for, and the animal
may be either a healthy adult or
a rehabilitation cat needing
special care. We have many adult
cats waiting for new homes so

It's not
just about
giving you
cat, you can
choose a
variety of
experiences.
-
You can
adopt an
adult
cat
- We
have
many
adult
cats
that
have
been
through
the life
experiences
and are
ready to
settle
in to
new
homes.
-
OR - You
can
rescue
and care
for an
adult
cat
whilst
we find
her a
home.
This
may be
long
term
foster
care. We
we will
provide
you with
the
necessary
equipment
and
support
to help
you with
foster
care
-
OR - You
can take
on
rehabilitation
care for
a
recovering
cat.
We
occasionally
have
injured
cats
that
don't
require
anything
more
than
attention,
love,
safety
and a
regular
bowl of
food. We
will
provide
all the
support
whilst
you
provide
hands on
safety
for the
cat.

Seniors
know
a
lot
about
looking
after
animals.
The concept
came
about
from
discussing
the
experience
our
families
have
had
in
raising
and
rescuing
animals.
"Why
let
that
kind
of
experience
go
to
waste. many
seniors
we
deal
with already
know
about
feeding,
cleaning
and
proper
care,
they
can
devote
real
time
to
the
animal and
they
are
consistent.
My
mother
taught
me
about
cat
care,
so
why
not
learn
from
that".
A
little
effort,
a
lot
of
reward.
Adult
cats
are
much
easier
to
manage
than
kittens.
They
are
already
litter
trained
and
love
nothing
more
than
a
comfortable
lap
to
sit
on
or
the
end
of a
bed
to
sleep.
The
program
saves
lives.
Without
this
program
we
would
not
be
able
to
take
in
adult
cats.
Simple.
This
program
gives
us
an
avenue
to
help
save
the
lives
of
an
adult
cat
in a
quality
way
with
real
results
