Products We Need

CatRescue NSW relies on the kindness and support of the community to make our work sustainable and to help as many animals as possible. We are not only dependent on financial donations but also donations of products.

Below is a list of the products we use daily and require to continue rescuing and providing a high standard of care for our animals. We would be extremely grateful if you’re able to donate any of these items.

Our Shopping List

  1. Science DietWet and dry cat food. Our rescued cats and kittens have a lot to catch up on and as a consequence need the best care and nutrition. We prefer to use dry Science Diet, Royal Canin and Advance dry food or Whiskas wet kitten food.
  2. Carry carry boxes. These are essential for transporting animals safely to and from pounds, vet and foster carers. Discount Variety stores sell them quite cheaply for around $30. Or if you have an old disused one we would greatly appreciate using it.
  3. Cat traps. Used for humane trap and desex programs.
  4. Worming and flea medicine. Preferred flea medication is ‘Advantage’ spot on treatment.
  5. Kitten toys, scratching posts and beds. We always try to maximise the quality of life an animal has while in foster care, and play is an extremely important part of this.
