Mission Statement
CatRescue NSW Mission Statement
CatRescue NSW is a network of trained volunteers dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned cats and dogs. We are a no-kill organisation committed to caring for every animal we rescue. To achieve this we rely on the hard work of volunteers and donations from the community.
CatRescue NSW focuses on rescuing animals from Council pounds, and will only rescue stray animals when it has the resources to do so. CatRescue NSW does not accept surrendered animals, but has developed a program to assist people with rehoming their animals after all attempts to keep them have been exhausted.
CatRescue is dedicated to promoting the well being of animals through education, by example and the provision of resources. We believe strongly that an end to animal homelessness and neglect can be achieved by making compassionate, thoughtful decisions and accepting responsibility to the animals in our care and community at large.
